One day, we asked family member Jess to design a board. After looking at our current stock for ideas, she kept coming back to this board. She was drawn to the beautiful padauk center and proceeded to create multiple variations of this eye-catching board.
Simple in form, bold in character. The Eyecatcher is crafted from long grain walnut, maple, and a wide center of vivid padauk. The ombre of the walnut edges frame the board with warmth, while the maple adds a soft contrast. But it’s the fiery red padauk stripe through the middle that steals the show.
This board doesn’t rely on complicated patterns or inlays. Its strength lies in the clean lines and thoughtful use of wood, letting the natural colors do the talking - I mean, look at that orange! It’s an everyday board that stands out on the counter—sleek, practical, and a little bit daring.
